My dear netbook

I don`t have a lot of pieces of technology, because I really don`t know how to use them, but I love my netbook.
It is a little laptop, so you can read and writes documents, you can connect to internet, you can see movies or another type of video, but you can`t insert CDs, because it is too little. Also you can keep a lot of things: pictures, videos, songs, documents, etc. And it includes a camera, so you can talk with other people or take pictures with it.
My netbook was my parents`s gift for Christmas, three years ago. They gave me it because I was starting the University, so I needed a computer that would be portable (I needed work in the Universtity). Remember I was so happy when I saw it, I loved it.
Since that moment, I use it every day, for all I need to do for University and also I use it to play games and surfing the internet, especially when I am at home. Actually I don`t carry it to University.
I think that I can`t live without my netbook, because actually all we need to be connected or created digital documents, so if I wouldn`t have it, I constantly would have to borrow a computer. But I don`t use it all day long, I don`t need to do that.

The Sixth Sense

The Sixth Sense (1999) is a suspense/horror film directed and written by N. Nigth Shyamalan, who directed Stuart Litlle (1999) and After Earth (2013) too. This movie was winner of many awards:

  • Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror films (2000): Best Horror Film and Best Perfomande by a younger actor/actress (Haley Joel Osment).
  • Awards of the Japanese Academy (2000): Best Foreign Film, USA.
  • Blockbuster Entertaiment Award (2000): Favorite Actor - Newcomer (Haley Joel Osment), Favorite Actor - Suspense (Bruce Willis) and Favorite Supporting Actress (Toni Collette).
  • Bram Stoker Awards (2000): Screenplay (M. Nigth Shyamalan).
  • Cannes Film Festival (2003): DVD Design Award.
  • Empire Awards, UK (2000): Best Director (M. Nigth Shyamalan)

Furthermore, it had six nominations for Oscars and a lot of other awards.

The film is about a child psychologist called Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis), who begin to work with a litlle boy called Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), whose cases is similar to a former patient of Malcolm: he has hallucinations. The kid sees dead people who ask him for help, then together discovered that those people are not hallucinations, they are ghosts and Cole has the ability to perceive them. So Malcolm suggests to Cole that he should try to find a purpose for his ability by communicating with the ghosts and maybe help them with thier unfinished business on Earth. And well, you have to see the rest of the movie.
It like to me because I like horror and suspense movies and it keeps you in suspense until the ending.

He has worked designing strategies of efficient interventions for the treatment of sexual victims. Also he monitored the Institute of Criminology, he was manager of National Division of Attention to Victims and Witnesses, he monitored the Regional Unit of Victims and Witnesses (URAVIT in spanish), he administrated and monitored the Economic Contribution Fund of Public Ministry.
